The eclectic charm of not just Shinsaibashi, but also Osaka that often goes unnoticed in the day-to-day is brought to the forefront in city scenes throughout the hotel. We aim to have that charm become an aspect of this city.

Kyoto based photographer/artist, Yuna Yagi captures unique perspectives of the Osaka city with her photography and videography on display in the lobby. Yagi’s own study of architecture and time spent working at an architectural firm in New York gives perspective to the photographers work and ability to capture cityscapes―lending travelers a whole new outlook on the city.

Similar to the video display, Yagi’s photography is also displayed in the open space stretching above the lobby. There, three photos are fit together showing the many facets of Shinsaibashi. Likewise, each of the guest rooms features a unique graphic curtain displaying various scenes of Osaka.

The word “bespoke” denotes communication, we utilized the Japanese「 」(Quotation conveying conversation) as the main graphic throughout the hotel. The graphic motif is also used throughout the hotel on amenities as well as individual items in order to build a full and complete experience.

Osaka motif’s and object such as Soryu-Goma’s Tsutenkaku pottery and Kyokinpaku toko’s pressed gold leaf Kuidaore Taro Puppet, are displayed through the lively yet stylish space.
